How to make pneumatic cylinder move stably

The pneumatic cylinder has two joints, one side is connected in and the other side is connected out, and is controlled by a solenoid valve. When the piston rod end receives air, the rod-less end releases air, and the piston rod will retreat.

Check the cause of the pneumatic cylinder failure:
1、Insufficient lubricating oil, resulting in increased friction: carry out proper lubrication. Check the consumption of the lubricator, if it is less than the standard consumption, readjust the lubricator.
2、Insufficient air pressure:Readjust to supply pressure and lock,When the operating pressure of the pneumatic cylinder is low, the piston rod may not move smoothly due to the load, so the operating pressure should be increased. Insufficient air supply is one of the reasons why the pneumatic cylinder movement is not smooth, and the flow rate corresponding to the size and speed of the pneumatic cylinder should be ensured。If the set pressure drops slowly, pay attention to whether the filter element is blocked
3、Dust is mixed in the pneumatic cylinder: due to the mixing of dust, the viscosity of dust and lubricating oil will increase, and the sliding resistance will increase. Clean, dry compressed air should be used inside the pneumatic cylinder.
4、Improper piping: The thinner pipe connected to the pneumatic cylinder or the size of the joint is too small is also the reason for the slow operation of the pneumatic cylinder. The valve in the piping leaks air, and improper use of the joint will also cause insufficient flow. You should choose accessories of appropriate size.
5、The installation method of the pneumatic cylinder is wrong.Should be reinstalled
6、If the air flow is reduced, it may be that the reversing valve is blocked. If working at high frequency in a low temperature environment, on the muffler at the outlet of the reversing valve, the condensed water will gradually freeze (due to insulation expansion and temperature drop), resulting in a gradual slowing of the rotating pneumatic cylinder speed: if possible, increase the ambient temperature and increase the compressed air degree of dryness.
7、The load of the pneumatic cylinder is too large: re-adjust the speed control valve to reduce the load fluctuation and increase the working pressure, or use a large diameter pneumatic cylinder.
8、The piston rod seal of the pneumatic cylinder is swelled: the pneumatic cylinder seal is leaking, replace the swollen seal and check the if it is clean.
If the pneumatic cylinder barrel and piston rod are damaged, replace the piston rod and pneumatic cylinder.
