There are several structural forms of the pneumatic cylinder barrel

Various accessories such as generators and engine brackets can be installed on the outside of the pneumatic cylinder barrel. pneumatic cylinder blocks are mostly made of cast iron or aluminum alloy. There are generally three types of pneumatic cylinder barrel materials:

1.Aluminum alloy pneumatic cylinder tubes: In the case of ordinary environment, generally use aluminum alloy pneumatic cylinder.

2.All-stainless steel pneumatic cylinder tubes: suitable for special environments, in environments with high pH and strong corrosiveness.

3.Cast iron pneumatic cylinder tubes: The cast iron pneumatic cylinder is heavier than other pneumatic cylinders with the same volume. Both the large pneumatic cylinder and the heavy pneumatic cylinder are made of cast iron, which is suitable for industrial market lifting equipment. ”

The pneumatic cylinder barrel generally adopts a cylindrical structure. With the development of pneumatic cylinder varieties, there are also square and rectangular shaped pipes, and special-shaped pipes with oval inner holes for anti-rotation pneumatic cylinders.

The inner surface of the pneumatic cylinder material is required to have a certain hardness to resist the wear of the piston movement. The inner surface of the aluminum tube needs to be chrome-plated and honed; the aluminum alloy tube needs to be hard anodized. pneumatic cylinder and piston dynamic fit precision H9-H11, surface roughness Ra0.6 μm.

The pneumatic cylinder barrel material of Autoair’s pneumatic cylinder is generally made of aluminum alloy tube. Aluminum alloy tubes and stainless steel tubes are mostly used for small and medium-sized pneumatic cylinders, and non-magnetic materials are required for pneumatic cylinder barrels of pneumatic cylinders using magnetic switches. Heavy-duty pneumatic cylinders used in metallurgy, automobile and other industries generally use cold-drawn fine-drawn steel pipes, and sometimes cast iron pipes.

The operating conditions of the pneumatic cylinder block are very harsh. It has to withstand the rapid changes in pressure and temperature during the combustion process and the strong friction of the piston movement. Therefore, it should have the following properties:

1.It has sufficient strength and rigidity, small deformation, and ensures the correct position of each moving part, normal operation, and low vibration and noise.

2.It has good cooling performance to take away heat.

3.Wear-resistant to ensure that the pneumatic cylinder has a sufficient service life.
