Aluminum alloy grades and classifications

According to the content of aluminum and other elements in the aluminum alloy:

(1) Pure aluminum: Pure aluminum is divided into three categories according to its purity: high-purity aluminum, industrial high-purity aluminum and industrial-purity aluminum.
Welding is mainly industrial pure aluminum, the purity of industrial pure aluminum is 99.7% to 98.8%, and its grades are L1. L2. L3. L4. L5. L6 and other six.
(2) Aluminum alloy: Alloy is obtained by adding alloying elements to pure aluminum. According to the processing characteristics of aluminum alloys,
they can be divided into two types: deformed aluminum alloys and cast aluminum alloys. The deformed aluminum alloy has good plasticity and is suitable for pressure processing.
Deformed aluminum alloys can be divided into four types: anti-rust aluminum (LF), hard aluminum (LY), super hard aluminum (LC) and forged aluminum (LD) according to their performance characteristics and uses.
Cast aluminum alloys are divided into four types: aluminum-silicon series (AL-Si), aluminum-copper series (Al-Cu), aluminum-magnesium series (Al-Mg) and aluminum-zinc series (Al-Zn) according to the main alloying elements added.

The main aluminum alloy grades are: 1024.2011.6060, 6063.6061.6082.7075

Aluminum grades:

1××× series: pure aluminum (aluminum content not less than 99.00%)
2××× series are: aluminum alloy with copper as the main alloying element
3××× series are: aluminum alloy with manganese as the main alloying element
4××× series are: aluminum alloy with silicon as the main alloying element
5××× series: aluminum alloy with magnesium as the main alloying element
The 6××× series are: aluminum alloys with magnesium as the main alloying element and Mg2Si phase as the strengthening phase (Autoair pneumatic cylinder tube is 6063-05, rods are 6061.)
7××× series: aluminum alloy with zinc as the main alloying element
The 8××× series are: aluminum alloys with other elements as the main alloying elements
9××× series are: spare alloy group

The second letter of the grade represents the modification of the original pure aluminum or aluminum alloy, and the last two digits represent the last
two digits of the grade to identify different aluminum alloys in the same group or to indicate the purity of aluminum.
The last two digits of the 1××× series grades are expressed as: the percentage of the minimum aluminum content. The second letter of the grade indicates a modification of the original pure aluminum.
The last two digits of the 2×××~8××× series grades have no special meaning and are only used to distinguish: different aluminum alloys in the same group.
The second letter of the grade indicates a modification of the original pure aluminum.
Code F×× is: free machining state O×× is: annealing state H×× is: work hardening state W×× is: solution heat treatment state
T×× is: heat treatment state (different from F, O, H state) *HXX’s subdivision state: The first digit after H indicates: the basic processing procedure to obtain this state, as shown below.
H1: Simple work hardening state H2: Work hardening and incomplete annealing state H3: Work hardening and stabilization treatment state H4: Work hardening and painting treatment state
The second digit after H: Indicates the degree of work hardening of the product . Such as: 0 to 9 means that the degree of work hardening is getting harder and harder.
