How to choose a mini Pneumatic cylinder?

The commonly used mini pneumatic cylinders are: MA stainless steel mini pneumatic cylinder, DSNU mini pneumatic cylinder, CM2 mini pneumatic cylinder, CJ1, CJP, CJ2 and other mini mini pneumatic cylinders. How to choose the correct pneumatic cylinder model? What factors need to be considered when selecting a mini pneumatic cylinder? Below, we summarizes the following points:
✔Type: According to the working requirements and conditions, choose the standard pneumatic cylinder type correctly. Heat-resistant pneumatic cylinders should be used in high temperature environments. In corrosive environments, corrosion-resistant pneumatic cylinders are required. In harsh environments such as dust, it is necessary to install a dust cover on the extension end of the piston rod. When no pollution is required, an oil-free or oil-free lubricating pneumatic cylinder should be selected.
✔Installation form: It is determined according to the installation location, purpose of use and other factors. In general, a stationary pneumatic cylinder is used. When it is necessary to continuously rotate with the working mechanism (such as lathes, grinders, etc.), the rotary pneumatic cylinder should be selected. When the piston rod is required to swing in a circular arc in addition to linear motion, the pin-type pneumatic cylinder is used. When there are special requirements, the corresponding special pneumatic cylinder should be selected.
✔ The size of the force: The thrust and pull of the output force of the pneumatic cylinder are determined according to the size of the load force. Generally, the pneumatic cylinder force required by the external load theory is balanced, so that the pneumatic cylinder output force has a little margin. If the pneumatic cylinder diameter is too small, the output force is not enough, but if the pneumatic cylinder diameter is too large, the equipment is bulky, the cost is increased, and the gas consumption and energy consumption are increased. In the design of the fixture, the force expansion mechanism should be used as much as possible to reduce the overall size of the pneumatic cylinder.
✔Piston stroke: It is related to the occasion of use and the stroke of the mechanism, but the full stroke is generally not selected to prevent the collision between the piston and the pneumatic cylinder head. If it is used for clamping mechanism, etc., an allowance of 10~20mm should be added according to the calculated stroke.
✔ The movement speed of the piston: mainly depends on the input compressed air flow, the size of the intake and exhaust ports of the rotating pneumatic cylinder and the size of the inner diameter of the conduit. It is required to take a large value for high-speed motion.
