HOW TO ENSURE THAT THE PNEUMATIC CYLINDER IS NOT DAMAGED DURING USE

Cylinder is a commonly used transmission system in pneumatic control valves, and daily maintenance and installation are relatively simple. However, if you don't pay attention when using it, it will damage the cylinder and even damage it. So what should we pay attention to when applying it?

1. Before installing the bronchus and the cylinder, be sure to check whether there is any debris in the pipe, and clean it up to prevent debris from entering the pneumatic cylinder tube, causing damage or harm to the cylinder.
2. In the case of ultra-low temperature, cold-proof countermeasures should be adopted to prevent moisture locking in the system software. Under the high temperature standard, the matching heat-resistant aluminum profile pneumatic cylinder Tube should be selected and installed.
3. If the load changes during operation, the cylinder with sufficient output force should be selected.
4. try to prevent side load during operation, otherwise it will endanger the normal use of the cylinder.
5. If the cylinder is removed and not used for a long time, it is reasonable to add anti-fouling blocking caps to the intake and exhaust pipes to prevent surface rust treatment.
6. Before the application, the cylinder should be fully loaded during the test work. Before the work, the buffer should be adjusted less and gradually increased. The speed adjustment in the whole process is not suitable for too fast, so as to prevent the pneumatic cylinder kit and tcylinder from being damaged by excessive impact.

What if you don't pay attention to these things when you use it, and there is a problem with the operation of the automation equipment.
1. Fault judgment
Observation: Observe whether the cylinder action is slow and whether the action speed is uniform. Check the cylinders working in pairs to see if the work is consistent.
Test: First, unplug the cylinder to drive the air pipe, trigger the corresponding action, and see if there is compressed air blowing out of the air pipe. If there is air, there is a problem with the cylinder, and if there is no air, there is a problem with the solenoid valve.
2. Maintenance
After it is judged that the cylinder is faulty, it needs to be repaired. Common maintenance tools include fine sandpaper of 1500# or more, circlip pliers, white oil (white solid grease for cylinder), and corresponding sealing rings.
After the cylinder is removed, first determine the fault location, first pull the cylinder rod by hand, and feel if there is any jamming; if there is no jamming phenomenon, block the air hole on one side by hand, and then pull the cylinder rod. If it cannot be moved back to its original position, the air seal is leaking.
If the cylinder rod is jamming, it is usually caused by the lack of lubrication inside the cylinder or the accumulation of a large amount of sludge. Disassemble the cylinder, clean it with oil or water, and wipe it with a cloth. If it is washed with water, be sure to dry it and observe the cylinder rod. And whether there are scratches in the cylinder, and whether the sealing ring is worn. If there are scratches, it needs to be polished with fine sandpaper, and the sealing ring needs to be replaced. Then add white oil as a built-in lubricant and reassemble. After installation, first pull the cylinder back and forth several times by hand to spread the white oil evenly in the cylinder, then ventilate the two air nozzles separately, let the air cylinder move quickly several times, and squeeze out the excess grease from the other air nozzle.
