THE SOLUTION TO THE FAILURE OF THE COMPACT PNEUMATIC CYLINDER

1. The cylinder has compressed air entering, but no output.

In view of this situation, the possible reasons are as follows: the upper and lower membrane chambers are connected due to the leakage of the diaphragm, the upper and lower pressures are the same, and the actuator has no output. Because the diaphragm is aging in pneumatic cylinder aluminium profile tube frequent actions, or the air source pressure exceeds the maximum operating pressure of the diaphragm, it is the direct factor that causes the diaphragm to be damaged. The output rod of the actuator is severely worn, causing the output rod to be stuck on the shaft sleeve.
Troubleshooting method: ventilate the actuator and check the position of the exhaust hole to see if there is a large amount of air flowing out. If so, it means that the diaphragm is damaged, just remove the diaphragm and replace it. Check the wear of the exposed part of the output rod. If there is serious wear, it is likely to be a problem with the output rod.

2. When the air cylinder barrel moves to a certain position, it will stop.

In view of this situation, the possible reasons are: the return spring of the membrane head is overturned.
Troubleshooting method: ventilate the actuator, and use a stethoscope or a screwdriver as an auxiliary device to listen to the sound of the membrane head during the action. If there is any abnormal sound, it is very likely that the spring has been dumped. At this time, just disassemble the membrane head and reinstall the spring. Check the wear of the exposed part of the output rod. If there is serious wear, it is likely to be a problem with the output rod.

3. The air source filter pressure reducing valve has pressure display, and the actuator does not act.

In response to this situation, the possible reasons are: the gas source pipeline is blocked. Air connection loose
Troubleshooting method: Check the intake pipe to see if there is any foreign matter stuck. Use soapy water to spray the joint position to see if it has become loose.

4. Everything is normal, but the output of the actuator is weak or the adjustment is not in place.
In view of this situation, the possible reasons are: the process parameters are changed, and the pressure before the valve is increased, so that the valve needs a larger actuator output force. Locator failure.
Troubleshooting method: replace the actuator with a larger output force or reduce the pressure before the valve. Check or troubleshoot the positioner and air cylinder kit.
