The solution to the slowly pneumatic cylinder speed

The movement speed of the pneumatic cylinder is mainly determined by the use needs of the work. When the demand is slow and stable, gas-liquid damping pneumatic cylinder or throttle control should be used.
The method of throttle control is: horizontal installation of exhaust throttle valve to use thrust load.
It is recommended to use vertical installation of lift load to use intake throttle valve. The buffer tube can be used to avoid the impact on the pneumatic cylinder tube at the end of the stroke, and the buffer effect is obvious when the pneumatic cylinder movement speed is not high.
If the movement speed is high, the end of the pneumatic cylinder barrel will be impacted frequently.

To judge whether the pneumatic cylinder is faulty: When the piston rod is pulled, there is no resistance. When the piston rod is released, the piston rod has no movement, when it is pulled out, the pneumatic cylinder has the opposite force, but when it is continuously pulled, the pneumatic cylinder slowly descends. There is no or very little pressure when the pneumatic cylinder is working means the pneumatic cylinder is faulty.

The main reasons for the slowdown of the self-resetting pneumatic cylinder with the inner spring:
1. The elastic force of the built-in spring is weakened
2.The return resistance becomes larger.
Solution:Increase the air source pressure;Increase the bore of the pneumatic cylinder, that is, increase the pulling force under the condition that the air source pressure remains unchanged.
3. The solenoid valve is faulty, which leads to the unsmooth air leakage channel, which makes the return speed slow down due to the increase of back pressure.Because the pneumatic cylinder works by the propulsion of gas. When the air pressure is increased, every time the solenoid valve is opened, the gas entering the pneumatic cylinder’s piston rod increases within the same time period, and the driving force of the gas increases, so the movement speed of the pneumatic cylinder also increases.
