The use and maintenance of the magnetic switch of pneumatic cylinder

First of all, for safety considerations, the distance between the two magnetic switches should be 3mm larger than the maximum hysteresis distance, and then the magnetic switch cannot be installed next to strong magnetic field equipment, such as electric welding equipment.

When more than two pneumatic cylinders with magnetic switches are used in parallel, in order to prevent the mutual interference of the magnetic body movement and affect the detection accuracy, the distance between the two pneumatic cylinders should generally not exceed 40mm.

The speed V when the piston approaches the magnetic switch shall not be greater than the maximum speed Vmax that the magnetic switch can detect.

Attention should be paid in the middle of the stroke) Vmax=Lmin/Tc.For example, the action time of the solenoid valve connected to the magnetic switch is Tc=0.05s, and the minimum action range of the magnetic switch is Lmin=10mm, the maximum speed that the switch can detect is 200mm/s.

Please pay attention to the accumulation of iron powder and the close contact of magnetic bodies. If a large amount of iron powder such as chips or welding spatter accumulates around the pneumatic cylinder with a magnetic switch, or when a magnetic body (object that can be attracted by this sticker) is in close contact, the magnetic force in the pneumatic cylinder may be taken away, causing the switch to fail to operate.

Another thing is to regularly check whether the position of the magnetic switch is offset. It cannot be directly connected to the power supply, and the load must be connected in series. And the load must not be short-circuited, so as not to burn the switch. Both the load voltage and the maximum load current should not exceed the maximum allowable capacity of the magnetic switch, otherwise its life will be greatly reduced.

1. Increase the installation screw of the switch. If the switch is loose or the installation position is shifted, the switch should be adjusted to the correct installation position and then the screw should be locked.

2. Check whether the wire is damaged. The damage of the wire will cause poor insulation. If the damage is found, the switch should be replaced or the wire should be repaired in time.

3. When wiring, it must be cut off, so as not to cause wrong wiring of the power supply, short circuit and damage the switch and load circuit. Wiring length does not affect functionality. Use within 100m.

4. Make the correct wiring according to the color of the wire. The tee is connected to the + pole, the blue wire is connected to one pole, and the black wire is connected to the load.

When directly driving inductive loads such as relays and solenoid valves, please use relays and solenoid valves with built-in surge absorbers. 4) When using multiple switches in series, each non-contact switch has an internal voltage drop, so the precautions for connecting multiple contact switches in series and using them are the same.
