The working pressure and standard requirements of piston rods

The piston rod (can use in pneumatic cylinder) is mainly manufactured by the advanced technology of precision cold-drawing, fine grinding and high precision polishing when carrying out operations, and its various technical indicators meet and exceed national standards. Piston rod can be directly used for oil cylinder, cylinder, shock absorber, textile printing and dyeing, printing machinery guide rod, die-casting machine, injection molding machine guide rod top rod and four column press guide rod, fax machine, printer and other modern office machinery guide shaft and some other precision slender shaft for parts of the industry products.

Design matters of piston rod

1. the use of equipment workpiece conditions.

2. Structural characteristics of the working mechanism, load situation, required speed, size stroke and action requirements.

3. The selected working pressure of the hydraulic system.

4. Current status of materials, accessories and machining processes.

5. Relevant national standards and technical specifications etc.

6. The piston rod should be made to withstand as much load as possible in the multi-pull state and have good longitudinal stability in the multi-press state.

Rolling of piston rods

Piston rod by rolling forming, its rolling surface will form a layer of cold work hardening layer, which can effectively reduce the elastic and plastic deformation of the contact surface of the grinding sub, and can delay the generation or expansion of fatigue cracks, so as to improve the surface corrosion resistance.

Piston rod chrome plating

The piston rod can have a hard, smooth and corrosion resistant surface after chrome plating. To improve the corrosion resistance of the piston rod surface, it is necessary to go through chrome plating. With chrome plating, piston rods can have a hardness of up to HV 1100 and a smooth, uniform thickness and dispersion, allowing it to be greatly improved for certain aspects.

Tempering of piston rods

Tempering of piston rods is the tempering of piston rods which, after tempering, can effectively improve the working strength of the material, help to close tiny cracks on the surface and hinder the expansion of erosion, thus improving the corrosion resistance of the surface. However, not all piston rods need to be tempered, so the tempering process should be judged according to the actual situation and materials, etc.
